Virginia Cabello represents children before the Superior Court. The role of the child’s lawyer is to ensure that the child is heard and to assist the court in understanding the child’s needs, wishes, and interests.

Lawyer and Family Mediator

Founder of VIC Avocate Inc., Virginia Cabello practises primarily in immigration law. She is also an accredited family mediator and represents children before the Superior Court.

A 2018 graduate of the Université de Montréal Faculty of Law, she is a member of the Barreau du Québec, the Young Bar of Montreal, and the Quebec Immigration Lawyers Association (AQAADI).

Before settling in Canada, she studied and worked in social work in Venezuela, supporting families and children facing difficult circumstances. This experience continues to shape her commitment to vulnerable individuals.

A former member of Venezuela’s national gymnastics team, she continues to practise artistic gymnastics and also works as a coach.

Lisbet Alonso Martinez is the administrative assistant at VIC Avocate Inc. She welcomes clients and manages the administrative follow-up of files with professionalism, attentiveness, and care.

A 2010 law graduate of the Universidad José Martí de Sancti Spíritus in Cuba, she gained experience handling legal files in the real estate sector. Since arriving in Canada, she has continued her integration into Quebec’s legal community while continually expanding her knowledge.
